“From the Front Porch to the Front Lines” DVD set features nine years of WWII-era oral history interviews.

All-day film premiere of student films from the Floyd County High School oral history project, Saturday, April 14, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

“From the Front Porch to the Front Lines,” a DVD set produced by the Floyd Story Center at the Old Church Gallery, Ltd., features stories of Floyd County residents who came of age during the Great Depression and World War II. The collection, funded by a grant from Virginia Humanities, includes 39 short films and a twelve-page biographical booklet. DVD Film Screenings:
