With Good Reason receives two regional Murrow awards


murrow awardWith Good Reason was recognized by the Radio and Television Digital News Association (RTDNA) with two Edward R. Murrow regional awards. The With Good Reason series, STEM Education in America, received a first place Edward R. Murrow award for a News Series in Region 12. “The Little Church That Could,” a feature by With Good Reason associate producer Allison Quantz on the rehabilitation of a historic church, also received a first place Murrow award for Best Use of Sound in Region 12. Region 12 includes Maryland, Delaware, Washington DC and Virginia.

RTDNA has been honoring outstanding achievements in electronic journalism with the Edward R. Murrow Awards since 1971. National awards will be announced in June.Murrow’s pursuit of excellence in journalism embodies the spirit of the awards that carry his name. Murrow Award recipients demonstrate the excellence that Edward R. Murrow made a standard for the electronic news profession.
